Golf and turtle wax... or the Saga of George and Bill

Today ex-presidents (of the U.S) George Bush Sr and Bill Clinton are scheduled to play golf at noon at a fancy development in Martin County.  However, it is raining and has been since yesterday.  A cold rain.

It's too bad because people have paid $30,000 each to play with the old duffers.

The link is that it is raining, and I just washed and waxed my car on Monday.  Well, actually, I only waxed the metal on my car. (It's a Saturn.  The side panels are plastic.)  It was getting late.  I may soon go back and wax the rest of the car, just for spiritual contentment, if nothing else. Probably not today though.

I wonder if George and Bill will show up and at least hob-knob with the people.

Isn't it curious that these two men seem to be on tour together?  What's up with that? What do you think?

Someone I work with said she hates all politicians, thinks they are all the same.  I am beginning to wonder if they aren't really all in cahoots.  Kerry didn't hold out too long at the end.  And he and W belong to the same elitist club....  Hmmm.  I am not known to be a conspiracy theorist... however, it makes you wonder....

I told this co-worker the story about my Dad and Bill Clinton.  That made her smile.  I tell her stories when where we work is quiet because she gets bored.  Not me.  There is too much to think about to be bored.
